Prague 1, Na Poříčí Street (Florenc square)
The main City Muzeums building was built in Neo-Renaissance style according to the project of Antonín Balšánek and is under the protection of the state. Permanent exhibition consists of history of the city and its citizens from prehistory to 1784. The unique and at the same time the most attractive exhibit is Langweils model of Prague from 1826 - 1837.

JEWISH MUSEUM IN PRAGUE

Under the Jewish Museum management are the following buildings: The Maisel Synagogue, The Spanish Synagogue, The Pinkas Synagogue, The Old Jewish Cemetary, The Klausen Synagogue, the Ceremonial Hall, Robert Guttmann Gallery and Education and Culture Center. NATIONAL MUSEUM

This museum consists of few museums: Science Museum, Historical Museum, National Museum?s Library, Naprstek?s Museum of Asian, African and American Culture and of the Czech Museum of Music. MUSEUM OF PHARMACY

In a former Ditrih's pharmacy At Golden Lion you can visit a big part of National Museum's pharmacy collection. Five exhibitional rooms recapture the culture and atmosphere of pharmacy in the 20th century. The exhibition developed as a generous gift of Czech chemists and it consists of a few thousand articles.

MUCHA MUSEUM

The first museum dedicated to life and work of famous representative of Art Noveau - Alfons Mucha. CHARLES BRIDGE MUSEUM

Newly-open museum gives you a chance to take a closer look at bridge building in the 14th and the 15th centuries. The permanent exhibition is placed in former hospital of Maltese Cross Order and the church of Holy Spirit. Here you can also see the unique models of Juditha's and Charles bridges. It is also available to see the rest of the foundation of Juditha's bridge from the 12th century.
